The public toilets were re-opened on 17th July 2020 following their shutdown in March due to Covid 19. Please wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the toilets and remain socially distanced at all times.
Gosforth Car Park and Public Toilets are owned by Copeland Borough Council and managed by the Parish Council. The ownership of the Car Park has been the subject of negotiations for some years and it is hoped that this village asset will be transferred to the Parish Council in the near future. This will give the Parish Council greater autonomy in deciding on changes to mitigate ongoing problems with parking in the village.
The Parish Council is committed to providing free parking for the residents of the village, whilst there is currently an Honesty Box for Visitors and non-residents.
