PARISH OF GOSFORTH
NOTICE OF VACANCY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of Parish Councillor in the Parish of Gosforth, following the resignation of Councillor David Ancell.
An election to fill the vacancy will be held, if within fourteen days* of the date hereof notice in writing of a request for such an election is given to The Returning Officer, Copeland Borough Council, The Copeland Centre, Catherine Street, Whitehaven, CA28 7SJ by ten electors of the Parish of Gosforth.
